To fulfill it’s mission of providing hope to impoverished children, Helping Children Worldwide sponsors a number of programs both locally and globally.

Child Rescue Centre

The ten-year civil war took their homes, their families, their security, but not their hope. In 2000, the Child Rescue Centre rescued 140 children from the streets of Bo, Sierra Leone. The children receive food, clothing, education, healthcare and a safe place to live and grow. Read More..

Connections for Hope

Connections For Hope is a partnership of nonprofit organizations and other service providers that operate under one roof to provide individuals and families in need with access to an integrated array of services. From medical care to job skills training, tutoring children to legal counseling, these and other services foster the self-sufficiency, good health, and education people of all ages and cultures need so that they can participate constructively in the life of their community. Mercy Hospital

Through our work with the Child Rescue Centre in Bo, Sierra Leone, we became acutely aware of the intense need for healthcare services for children and other members of the Bo community. Helping Children Worldwide received a significant matching grant in 2005 to establish a hospital near the Child Rescue Centre complex. Read More..
