CRC Benefit 5K Run/1-Mile Walk a Great Success!

Helping Children Worldwide, in partnership with Galilee United Methodist Church, held the 4^th Annual Child Rescue Centre Benefit Run on April 19, in Sterling, VA. The event was a 5k Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk that attracted 267 participants from all over the DC Metro Area. Participants included 116 runners and 151 walkers and the total participation was over 40% higher than in 2007. Eighteen sponsors participated in the event - a 63% increase over the eleven sponsors that the event attracted in 2007. The additional participants and sponsors resulted in net revenue of over $15,000 that will directly benefit the CRC.
